About us
One platform for private schools. Pakistan Chamber of Education unites school owners from district to national level and works with government, through dialogue rather than confrontation, to protect the rights of private education.
Why the chamber exists
For years, private school owners organised city by city. Local associations did valuable work, but each spoke only for its own town, and the policies that shaped every private school were made without them in the room.
In 2020, school owners came together to change that. Pakistan Chamber of Education was formed to bring these schools and associations onto one platform, so that private education could be heard where decisions are made and treated as a partner in the nation's progress.

The chamber stands for the legal and fundamental rights of private educational institutions and works to resolve their problems through negotiation with government.

It believes education improves when the public and private sectors work together, and it works for a place for private schools in the decisions that affect them.

- 2020 · Formation
One platform for Punjab's private schools
School owners, most of them teachers themselves, came together to form Pakistan Chamber of Education (Punjab). Haji Ashfaq Ahmad Warraich was its first President and Ali Raza Sheikh its first Secretary General, with an Executive Council and an Advisory Council leading the chamber.

Office bearers take oath
At PC Hotel Lahore, the chamber's office bearers took oath, bringing school owners from across Punjab under one banner.

From districts to tehsils
With district bodies in place, the chamber began forming bodies at tehsil level, bringing representation closer to every school.

Ali Raza Sheikh elected Chairman
Ali Raza Sheikh, a founding member and the chamber’s first Secretary General, was elected Chairman of Pakistan Chamber of Education.
The mark
The chamber's seal shows school owners, each running their own school, connected at one point. It was designed to show what the chamber exists for: bringing private schools together as one body.
