The Pakistan Chamber of Education (PCE) has always stood at the forefront of safeguarding the academic future of our students and protecting the rights of private educational institutions. In continuation of these efforts, a high-level 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 was held today at the 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐝𝐡𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 to present a strong case before the Government. 👥 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: • Mian Asad Iqbal Bhatti (President, Pakistan Chamber of Education) • Mian Izhar-ul-Haq (Divisional President) • Madam Sadia Irshad (District President) • Rana Qaisar Abbas (Coordinator Legal Affairs) 📢 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 & 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬: The leadership expressed deep concerns over the government's recent notification enforcing a prolonged 94-day summer vacation, highlighting its negative impact on student learning. The PCE put forward the following urgent demands: 1️⃣ 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝: Due to an already constrained academic calendar, the number of working days is critically low. Such an extended closure will severely disrupt the learning curriculum. The government must immediately minimize these holidays to save the academic year. 2️⃣ 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: To compensate for the potential academic loss, private schools should be permitted to hold Summer Camps under strict short-timing protocols. The leadership emphasized that the intellectual growth and bright future of the new generation remain our topmost priority, and academic loss cannot be compromised. We urge the Government to review the ground realities and take swift, favorable action. #PakistanChamberOfEducation #PCE #PressConference #SargodhaPressClub #Sargodha #EducationSector #SummerVacations2026 #PrivateSchools #AcademicCalendar #SummerCamp #MianAsadIqbalBhatti #EducationReform
